Abstract

Currently, more and more applications are fiber-optical sensors of electric current. Calculations and design study has shown that the establishment of the sensors is possible on the basis of crystals of type Bi12GeO20 and Bi12SiO20 with a sensitive element of one-pass type. This solution allows the maximum extent possible to meet demands for miniaturization, sensitivity, the minimum basic and additional temperature error of sensor.
