Abstract

Background. Elements of development concept for intelligent monitoring and control systems (MaCS) in the items of rocket and space equipment (RSE) and objects of ground-based space infrastructure (GSI) are discussed. Analysis of principal trends in development of advanced technically demanding objects for RSE and GSI is carried out.
Materials and methods. System approach to the development problem of intelligent MaCS in RSE and GSI objects is used.
Results. Operational results of Project 25 «Development of Intelligent Monitoring and Control Systems for Monitoring the Condition of Technically Demanding Objects of Rocket and Space Equipment and Ground-Based Space Infrastructure» approved by the Presidential Commission of the Russian Federation are presented. MaCS have been developed, successfully installed and operated at «Soyuz» launch facilities of Baikonur Space Center. Presidium of Science and Engineering Board of State Space Corporation ROSCOSMOS has approved development and integration of intelligent MaCS at Plesetsk and Vostochny Space Centers and defined them as suitable for further implementation.
Conclusions. New approach to the concept of condition estimation for technically demanding objects of Vostochny Space Center RSE and GSI has been suggested while developing an actual model of study subject on the basis of physical and operational characteristics.
