Abstract

Background. Improvement and upgrading of the experimental and test base of the enterprise of the rocket and space industry is aimed at maintaining it at a level that ensures the solution of the tasks of ground-based experimental testing of sensor-transforming equipment in conditions close to actual operating conditions, as well as confirming the conformity of the sensor-transforming technical characteristics equipment requirements. The object of improvement is the Temp-2 acceleration and rate stand, designed to test sensorconverting equipment, transfer linear acceleration size and angular velocity to low-frequency accelerometers, angular velocity sensors, and gyroscopes.
Materials and methods. In the course of the modernization work, an analysis of the technical condition and stand fault detection was carried out, the results of which determined the directions for improving the stand, ensuring high efficiency, productivity and reliability of the testing and calibration processes of sensor-transforming equipment, based on the basic principles of its operation and functioning, as well as through the use of more modern and improved element base. Manufacturing of parts and assemblies, as well as their installation and assembly to working condition. Precommissioning works were carried out, including comprehensive testing, stand setup, autonomous and type testing, as well as tests for type approval and preparation of the stand for the production process.
Results. The results of the work can be applied in the development and improvement of the metrological support of sensor-transforming equipment intended for the assembly of rocket and space technology products.
Conclusions. The methods used in this work allowed to significantly improve the metrological characteristics of the upgraded stand, as well as to reduce the economic costs of maintenance and possible further expansion of the functional capabilities of the stand in the future.
