Background. Currently, there is no unified system of metrological requirements for software used in testing military equipment. Materials and methods. The article discusses the problematic issues of confirming the compliance of military equipment testing software with metrological requirements. Results and conclusions. The ways of eliminating the existing shortcomings and forming an appropriate system for confirming the conformity of software tools used in testing military equipment within the framework of the Russian Ministry of Defense are proposed.
