Abstract

Background. The work is devoted to the study of the possibility of using the automation of the process of collecting and processing the results of the process of conducting experimental research when heating the wires of the power transmission line. The aim of the work is to develop technical measuring instruments and a software environment, which, based on the information received from technical measuring instruments, will allow processing and systematization of experimental data. Materials and methods. To solve this problem, the used sensors and data collection / processing tools were calibrated in accordance with other measuring instruments. Results. A scheme for the implementation of automatic temperature measurement during the heating of wires is proposed. Conclusions. In the course of the work, a special system for measuring the temperature of the tested wire was developed and a control algorithm was developed.
