Abstract

Background. The purpose of the study is to develop tools to measure parameters of piezomaterial products represented by four-element resonant equivalent circuits. Materials and methods. The technique used provides for the measurement of resonant frequency, quality factor, and maximum voltage at the measuring circuit output, followed by the solution of a system of equations relating the measured parameters with the equivalent inductance, capacitance, and active resistance of the investigated object. Results. Calculation ratios are given, and determination of equivalent electrical parameters of piezomaterial products is exemplified. Conclusions. The conducted research has confirmed the feasibility of using the method for aggregate measurements of resonant electrical circuit parameters to determine frequency and equivalent electrical parameters of piezomaterial products represented by four-element resonant equivalent circuits.
